Rodney Bigham

In comedy as in life, Rodney Bigham plays by his own rules. Period! Born and raised in Houston Texas, trouble came early and often for Bigham. A devoted family man; he found redemption in the lives of his children which are his greatest joy. The decision to become a stand-up comedian was sparked by the painful break-up of his marriage.

The divorce threatened to shake the funny man’s solid resolve and the stage became both a release and a rescue. As the consummate realist explains; “After we split it was either go to jail for stalking or become a comic; I opted for a mic instead of handcuffs and never looked back”!

Bigham has performed on such well-known shows as Showtime at the Apollo, BET’s Comic View, The Improv and Blog Talk Radio. He has performed with acts such as Katt Williams, Sommore, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Ralphie May and many other great comedians.
